What is the best way to reach a deal cheaper to San Francisco?
I am thinking of spending a holiday in the UK to San Francisco this year and want to know how best to go about finding a bargain. I've never been in the U.S. before does not know where to start for good deals. Should book a flight and hotel together at Expedia, etc, or try to find a package such as holidays Virgin Holidays? I would also like to know of any people could have a good website for booking travel in the U.S.?
I would pick to stay close to downtown, or fishers Wharf, which is basically You can go around town on foot or by car. Do not use Hotels.com. Hotels do not treat customers well. My best experience is with an airline. Stay away of 2 star hotels, unless you want to listen to all trucks, buses and trains run every hour. San Francisco is a nice friendly town.
