Immigration Advice, traveling from the UK to the U.S. Vacation?
Next week I have to fly to Portland from Gatwick (scale Atlanta). I have never flown by myself before and never to the U.S.. I'd appreciate some tips from the experience in getting through immigration at the lowest hassle as possible. I am a British citizen, hold a valid biometric passport, have a job (part-time only, though) and a family here in the United Kingdom. I stay a little less than two weeks in a hotel with my boyfriend who is U.S. citizen. I have a copy of my itinerary (electronic ticket) to show that the intention to leave the country again. I have no criminal record. However, I am a very nervous and tend to show that I'm worried or scared easily. Please give me advice from his experience on what to say, how to act, and I know all the additional issues that may arise. London to Scotland?
Ok. I'll be visiting London for the first time in July … Me and my friend has decided on a day trip to Scotland. Actually, do not know how to move. I'm not even sure what city in Scotland want to go. We're more in the castles, culture, etc. tourist area, not so super. Now my question is our address for our hotel in London is: Best Western Victoria Palace 60-64 WARWICK WAY London, England SW1 V1SA, Britain and I'm not sure which train station to book our tickets. I'm not sure what that is closer. We take the train to Scotland … but what city? Would love some ideas! Thanks
