Schengen visa for residents of the UK, spouse of EU national.?
Do I need a Schengen visa to visit EU countries, although Britain has a residence permit and visa my wife is French? I learned a new regulation that allows spouses of nationals of the EU to travel in the Schengen area without a visa. But I'm not 100% sure of the extent of this new law. Thanks for all your answers. 
Residence permit only gives the right to live and work in the UK, does not confer the rights associated with British citizenship bearer and you keep your passport and citizenship (as appropriate) of their country of origin – it is obvious that they know and otherwise would not be asking about visas. You should contact the embassy of a country movement of the Schengen area to the right information about whether you need a visa.
